About Loss Prevention (2018)
When an old-school bar owner and his unruly daughter get caught up in a cat-and-mouse game of corporate espionage, it will take brains, brawn and help from the lesser of two evils to make it out alive.

) Well done, folks! As much as I have seen, some of the reviews are right and some are wrong. It was just an ordinary film with poor and simple plot. just check the light angles and youll understand. But maybe I'm not that much into those kinds of films right now. I cannot ask more from an indie film: sharp and funny dialogue, explosive scenes of violence that are believable but not too graphic for my admittedly delicate soul, and great acting. Enjoy! I feel like it was just an ordinary film with some movements. Loss Prevention is not a terrible low budget action-ish movie. (But now? Too simple but it was okay for the whole time until the end came.
Although it says that it's an action film, but there wasn't that much action. When the nearly ended scene where Nicki and that girl are kissing came, I didn't have a clue that it's going to finish soon because I was expecting more than this. If some people said that it's not a good movie, it is for me.
As I've said that some people said that this film is not good.
when noticing that 60% of the cast is also on the crew list, then a bell starts ringing.. But it's certainly not a “10”, either. I feel like it was ended for nothing. it has a story, but the technical quality of the work is so bad.
Overall is that this film seemed to be a great film, but it's not. Good shootouts, decent acting, one major continuity gaff, and acceptable writing. I don't like it, even for a bit. It's not that strong. Also, watch for a brief but spooky appearance by Vernon Wells as CEO Reginald Bachman. Action film fans should watch out for Vernon Wells (best known for Wez in “The Road Warrior” and Bennett in “Commando.” So, I don't like that part that much. I've seen far worse from the WWE studio. I feel like it's very simple but also it's kind of extremely complex that I don't know what happened.
“Loss Prevention” is the real deal, and I can't wait to catch more films cooked up by the collaboration of Brian Cunningham (writer / director / cinematographer), Matt Niehoff (writer / director), and Nic Brown (writer / producer. I'm not saying that it's not good and there shouldn't be.
Moreover, I really don't like the Nicki's character.
It can also be said that this film is another film of lesbians. Still, I don't like her. the grumpy old man thinks that brian is cunning us all, and therefore will get tuna instead of ham on the bread for the rest of his life, its cunningly well done mr cunningham, you stole a part of my life tonight. The ending was nothing and so weak. I feel like it's a kind of low budget film. The premise of “Loss Prevention” is “What if two rival corporations throw out all notions of ethics and legality to pursue their profit-hunger to the nth degree, to where cold-blooded, high-tech warfare is A-OK … so long as the bottom-line ultimately shows black?” The ending disappointed me. So, if they could do something better than this, something clearer, I think it'd be a great film to enjoy. It's not. But this one is an exception. In the end, it's worth a watch. ) late in the film. If they could put more actions, yeah, it'd be better than this. It's not good? The way she talks, the way she behaves, it makes me disgusting. Before I watched this film, I've read some reviews here on IMDB and found that some people were saying that this film is kind of a bad film. And you have to go back to Alan Rickman's Hans Gruber to find a sociopath as chilling as John Wells's Boland. But nothing more came but the end. If they could end with something different and improve it somehow, I think it will be better than this. I agreed in half, but not fully. In fact, there wasn't that much in the plot. This is not a good film, so if you decide not to watch then you make a wise descision, because its a sin to make bad movies like this. Yes, the plot is not that good. Ah, what superb acting … My favorite character in this film was Murphy, the bar owner, played to perfection by Al Snow. “Loss Prevention” takes this premise and smashes it out of the park. Except for the overuse of the “corporate America bad” trope. A bartender with plans for bigger and better things (Abisha Uhl) is working in her father's bar when the woman of her dreams walks in, and her troubles really begin. As for me, most of the times, those reviews are totally wrong.
The plot is too simple, but I hardly understand the last part where they make a deal. But it's just a character, so, I took it that way to make me feel better.
I love the father-daughter chemistry between Murphy and Nik (Al Snow and Abisha Uhl) as well as the sexually-tense chemistry between Brook (Lauren Albert) and Nik. I enjoyed this independent film more than some big-budget films with star-studded casts! defnately not recommended. Have you watched Loss Prevention yet ? A brand new Action film of 2020!
